I have a lab and golden retriever and have these collars on both, no fleas or ticks. Even went camping here in the Midwest where the dogs trekked thru some tall grass and trails and didn’t have any issues. Only complaint is if you have to remove or adjust…these collars are a pain

The way this collar secures was a new one for me and I had never seen a fastening system like this before, but once I figure it out, it was a breeze. It was a little challenging getting the dogs to sit still while I figured it out and manipulated the collar. Lots of handling of the collar putting it on, which I guess means I won’t get fleas and ticks on my hands now. The dogs have been wearing them for about a week and they don’t seem to mind them and they aren’t bothered by the collars, so that is a good thing for me. Overall I am very happy with the collars.

I live in rural South Georgia. The rural part matters because my neighbor has a lot of outside cats, and I bought these right as it started getting warmer to try and get ahead of the flea issue this year. My dogs go outside for walks multiple times a day and end up bringing in fleas which I then have to treat on them, in the carpets, and on my own cats which can get expensive very quickly. I thought I’d give these a shot after seeing a couple fleas already to avoid having to spend even more later. And so far, it has definitely helped! I saw another couple fleas in the day or so right after putting the collars on the dogs but I’ve since stopped seeing them and it’s been a week now. If anything changes I’ll come back with an update, but so far it looks like we’re going to prevent a much bigger problem later and I’m happy with my purchase. The only complaint is theyre not the easiest to get on a wiggly dog and don’t stay on but my dogs can get pretty crazy outside when they have off leash time.

I like to regularly bathe my dogs once a month, and I remove the flea collars when I do this. However, these collars are extremely difficult to get off and on in my opinion. I suffer from carpal tunnel in my right arm and I’m right handed which makes it more difficult. I have a little dog with a heart condition and I feel like this really stresses her out when I struggle to take it off and back on. They seem to work okay as far as keeping the fleas away and I’ve not seen any ticks on any of my dogs which is good. It’s just the level of difficulty getting them off and on without feeling like I’m hurting and stressing out my dogs. Because of this I’m rating it a 3 stars. I feel that not only should a flea collar protect against fleas and ticks but should be easy to get off and on and not a huge issue. There’s a lot of good flea collars out there that I’ve used in the past that work great and are simple to get off and on and comfortable for the dog. I definitely would not recommend these to anyone with any type of arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. I myself will not be purchasing these again.

PROS: Metal tin for storing is a great idea. Keeps the product safe and secure. Two collar included which can be adjusted to fit to size. Secure dual buckle system, to ensure the product stays in place. Protection for a year. Kills, prevents, and repels most insects that can harm our pups. I have found that this product is effective, I don’t see any fleas or ticks, and I don’t see any mosquito’s flying around my pups, which is good!!! And my pups do not seem to be bothered at all by the collars.

CONS: Why is it such a big ugly collar?? Seems like with all the technology we have today, it would be easy to come up with something that looks nicer, is smaller.
